  • Ambler Mennonite Church raises funds for Project Learn

    The community came out to Amber Mennonite Church's 6th Annual Pennsylvania Dutch Dinner to support Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club's Project Learn. The event raised $1,800 to benefit our program which meets at the church everyday after school.  Standing with our Club Members are: Sally Marin, co-chair of the PA Dutch Dinner presenting the check to Kelly Kreamer-Curtis, Program Director, along with Donna Merow, Pastor, Gerald Benner, Stewardship Director, and Karen Kingma, Ministry Team Director.  Thank you to everyone who came out to support the event!   • Wrestling Event at Indian Valley Boys & Girls Club!

    The World Wide Wrestling Alliance will be at the Indian Valley Boys & Girls Club!  Tickets are $15 for Ring Side and $12 for General Admission.  Meet and Greet starts at 5:00 p.m. Bell time 7:00 p.m.  100% of the proceeds from the concessions and a portion of tickets sales will benefit the Boys & Girls Club!   • A Safe, Positive Environment: The Club is a place where everyone belongs, and youth can participate in a variety of fun programs and activities.
  • Fun and Friendship: Club staff form mentoring relationships with members, and Club members forge close friendships among their peers.
  • Opportunities: Club members are offered the chance to develop a host of recreational, social, technological, artistic, and life skills. They receive homework assistance and tutoring, establish better study habits, and are encouraged to pursue a post-secondary education and prepare for a productive adulthood. We believe Club members can achieve anything, and we constantly reinforce this message!
  • Recognition – Club members are honored and rewarded for their Club, school, and personal accomplishments, and learn to take pride in their own achievements.
