Arts and Technology

Club members are encouraged to engage in creative endeavors, build cultural awareness, develop technology skills, and to remain safe while navigating the current tech climate. Programs include:

Image Makers

A basic digital photography class. Members will enjoy taking photos of different objects, learn how to upload them to a computer, and print them out.

Outside the Lines

Members experience a different type of art or activity each week. Some of their artwork will be displayed throughout the Club.

An interactive, educational program that provides age-appropriate resources to help teach children to be safer on- and offline. The program is designed for children with resources such as videos, games, activity cards, and presentations. Netsmartz entertains while it educates.

Computer Classes

Gain basic knowledge and participate in fun activities. Using MacBooks, members will learn hints and tips about Microsoft Office, Excel, Photo Booth, and Garage Band.

Young Builders

Members create different structures while using K’NEX, Legos, or blocks. Members will complete various building tasks throughout the course of the program. Participants will be challenged to use their creativity and newly acquired skills each week while they build a variety of structures.
