DonorsProgram and membership fees support less than 2 percent of the funds needed for the North Penn Valley and Indian Valley Boys & Girls Clubs to provide services to their members and families. In order for the Clubs to continue providing more than 50 quality programs, and to keep them affordable to all families, additional support must come from concerned individuals, corporations and foundations.

The North Penn Valley and Indian Valley Boys & Girls Clubs will rely on the support of the individuals and companies in our communities annually to ensure that the youth we serve are receiving quality care. Our donation programs make sure your funds are properly allocated and serving your community in the best possible way.

There are many ways to support your Boys & Girls Clubs and every contribution has an impact on the lives of our members. The North Penn Valley and Indian Valley Boys & Girls Clubs have many options for individuals and corporations to lend financial support to furthering the organizations’ mission. Here are a few ways you can help:

Gifts in Memory - Pay tribute to someone who committed themselves to their community during their lifetime. A memorial gift is a great way to honor someone’s life. The North Penn Valley and Indian Valley Boys & Girls Clubs will acknowledge your thoughtful gift with a gift card to the family or friend of whom you are honoring.

Gifts in Honor - Trying to decide what to give someone who has almost everything? Consider a gift to support North Penn Valley and Indian Valley Boys & Girls Clubs. From birthdays to anniversaries, there are many occasions when it might be appropriate to recognize a loved one in this meaningful way.

Adopt a child - The membership fee a family pays per child is $20 a year. The actual cost of providing services for the child is about $1,000 a year. By adopting a child or family, your donations will ensure that they are able to participate in quality after-school programs, spend time in a safe, supervised environment, and are prepared for school and the workforce. A donation of $1,000 is an investment in a child’s future.

Adopt a staff member - The biggest expense for the organization is the payroll. Our staff is comprised of trained professionals and people dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others and their community. Adopting a staff member gives you, as a donor, many options. You may donate the cost of an employee’s benefits or part of their salary.

Adopt a bill - There are countless expenses ranging from program expenses to the everyday utilities needed to keep the building operating. By adopting a bill, you ensure that the funds raised by the Clubs are used strictly on what matters the most . . . the kids!

Volunteer
If you have a special interest or skill, why not share it? There are many volunteer opportunities at the Clubs. Volunteering can be as involved as you want to make it - from volunteering an hour a month in the games room to initiating your very own program. Program volunteers work directly with kids in a variety of program areas from sharing billiard techniques in the game room to crafts to tutoring an ESL student. Special Event volunteers provide the people power needed to set-up and staff various recognition and fundraising events throughout the year.

(All volunteers must pass a child abuse history clearance and a PA State Police Criminal History clearance.)
