Indian Valley

Yesterday, our 1st and 3rd grade Homework Room members had the special honor of meeting their pen pals in person!

Throughout the year, our members have been exchanging monthly letters with seniors from Spark Senior Centers of Montgomery County, sharing their interests, hobbies, and stories.

Our 1st graders bonded with Miss Janet over their shared love of fishing and animals, while our 3rd graders connected with Irma—learning about her Puerto Rican heritage and celebrating that she is bilingual, just like many of them!

Moments like these remind us how powerful connection across generations can be. ❤️

🌟💙 Career Day at the Club! 💙🌟

Our kids had a great time learning about the jobs our staff have outside of the Club and the paths that led them here. We also had parents join us to share about their careers, which made it even more special.

It was a fun, educational day that gave our members a chance to explore new ideas and think about their own futures. ✨
