Congratulations to Our Youth of the Year Candidate, Mikey!
We are so incredibly proud of Mikey for stepping up, sharing his story, and representing the North Penn Valley Boys & Girls Club!
In his speech, Mikey shared a powerful message about being a work in progress and understanding that making mistakes doesn't mean you can't be successful. What matters is learning, growing, and continuing to move forward.
One of the most meaningful parts of his speech really says it all:
"The Club never expected me to be perfect. They just expect me to keep trying, and that's what I'm going to do."
And THAT is what the Boys & Girls Club is all about! We don't expect perfection. We believe in second chances, personal growth, and helping our kids become the best versions of themselves.
Mikey, we are so proud of the young man you're becoming. Keep showing up, keep growing, and most importantly, keep being YOU!
Miss Rachel and her daughter, spent part of their day visiting five of our sixth-grade classes to support their bake sales!
From cookies to cupcakes and everything in between, the treats were absolutely delicious! But the sweetest part was seeing all the hard work the kids and their families put into making these bake sales a success. We love getting out into our community, supporting our Club kids, and seeing them shine outside the Club walls! ... See MoreSee Less

Our BuildHERS girls were hard at work this week building birdhouses! Thanks to Lowe's Home Improvement , the girls had 3 different birdhouse designs to work with, and they did an awesome job putting them together!
From following directions to using their tools and figuring things out along the way, these girls are learning that they can build just about anything with a little patience and determination!
🎨 Next week, the fun continues! We'll be decorating our birdhouses and adding a little sparkle to our toolboxes by bedazzling our hammers!
As Miss Jo-Ann begins working toward her well-deserved retirement, you'll still see her smiling face at the Club on Mondays and Fridays!
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Miss Shay, who will be greeting our Club families on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays!
Parents and Guardians — Please Pass It On!
As Miss Shay gets familiar with all of our wonderful Club members and families, we ask that everyone please remember to bring their photo ID when picking up children.
It will take a little time to learn everyone's faces, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we make this transition. Keeping our Club kids safe is always our top priority!
Best wishes to you BOTH !! Miss Jo-Ann thank you for your years of service to our kids , parents & staff…..we love you !!
