We received a $10,000 grant from the VNA Foundation for kitchen upgrades at our Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club! Our “Kids in the Kitchen” program will benefit from the grant which will include new appliances and equipment! Our new supplies will come in handy when our Club members get to cook for their families or when we host family events!Thank you VNA for all your support! Indian Valley
- Toys for kids ages 6-9, preferably plastic toys so they are easy to clean. Monster trucks, dolls, tech deck toys, cars, play food, etc.
- Scooters for gym activities and other PE equipment such as dodge balls, jump ropes, and hula hoops
- Board games and other fun group games (apples to apples junior and things like that)
- School supplies, such as pencil sharpeners, glue, folders, paper, rulers, pencils, dry erase markers and erasers.
- Elementary aged story books for homework room
- iPads or tablets for kids to do homework
- Paint and paintbrushes, or other arts and crafts supplies
- Playing Cards
North Penn
- Pre-packaged snacks (cheez-its, goldfish, crackers, etc)
- Games (arcade games, sports games, video games things for the gamesrooms)
- Sporting equipment (pinneys, balls, etc)
- Office/craft supplies (staplers, poster board, construction paper, etc)
- Homework room supplies (dry erase markers, erasers, pencils, erasers, paper, folders, binders)
- Markers, crayons, colored pencils
- iPads, tablets, computers for kids to do homework
- Smartboard(s) for classrooms and office use
