VNA Foundation Grant Recipient

The North Penn Valley Boys & Girls Club is proud to announce that we have received a $10,000 2019 Fall Capacity Building Grant from the VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn. The grant will be used for improvements at our North Penn facility, such as brighter emergency Exit signs, additional security cameras and new light fixtures throughout the building. Thanks to the VNA Foundation for making all this possible!

Driving Away the Cold!

We are proud to be a Driving Away the Cold partner organization. The Auto Dealers Caring for Kids Foundation announced that it will distribute a record 52,700 brand-new winter coats this month through its 12th Annual Driving Away the Cold Program. The effort involves 170 local auto dealers teaming up to provide brand-new winter coats to area children who need them most. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Auto Show. Established in 2003, the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, supports worthwhile child-related initiatives throughout the Greater Philadelphia five-county region including its signature programs; the Black Tie Tailgate, Greater Philadelphia Automotive Technology Competition and Driving Away the Cold. To date, it has donated more than $13.7 million to area children’s charities, organizations and more. Visit for additional details.

2019 Lights on After School

The Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club would like to thank all the Club members, families, friends, and school teachers that joined us during Lights on After School event! This is one of our favorite evenings because it serves to celebrates after school programs that keep students safe and engaged while supporting working parents. We were so happy to be able to spend our night with our Club families and friends!

Thanks to AAA Catering, over 190 of our families and friends were able to fill their bellies with a yummy Italian style dinner! 

What a great way to kick off our 2019/2020 school year! We are looking forward to all the fun times, laughs, and learning that make our Club the best!
